Smofbabe's Life and Times - Embarrassing Win
Seriously, neither team deserved to win the Dolphins/Jets game, which I followed by streaming radio and ESPN's Gamecast. Neither team had any offense to speak of. Miami's two scores were courtesy of turnovers and we had 6 first downs for the entire game! The Jets weren't much better with 14. Total yards for the Dolphins: 131, only 30 of which were passing. (Our QB was a humiliating 5 for 18.) Glad we got the win but embarrassed at our performance.
Meanwhile, the rivalry isn't going to get any calmer by photographic evidence and a confession that NY Jets conditioning coach Sal Alosi tripped Dolphin cornerback Nolan Carroll by sticking out a knee when Carroll ran out of bounds.

And in NY, it was preceded by Lions-Packers, which was just like it.
