Smofbabe's Life and Times

My communication arc has gone from science fiction fanzines in amateur press alliances (apas) produced on stencils with a typewriter to apazines produced on typesetting equipment to apazines produced through computer word processors to blathering in Usenet newsgroups and now, to blogging on LiveJournal, which combines the immediacy of Usenet posts with the filtering capability of apazines, and the added bonus of hyperlinks and newsfeeds. Let's hear it for progress!
